Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all products and services purchased through https://www.goldjar.in/. Please read carefully.
1. Cancellation by You (Customer)
- You may cancel an order at any time before the product has been dispatched/shipped.
- To cancel, you must inform us via email or through the customer dashboard within this timeframe.
2. Cancellation by GoldJar
- GoldJar reserves the right to cancel your order for reasons such as: non-availability of product, issues with payment, pricing errors, or if delivery cannot be completed as per due process.
- If GoldJar cancels, you will receive a full refund (see below).
3. Refund Process
- Refunds will be made via the same payment method you used to place the order, where feasible.
- Once the cancellation is approved or we receive the returned product (if applicable), we will process the refund within7–10 business days (or otherwise as per bank/financial institution processing times).
4. Return of Goods
- Returns are accepted only in cases where the product is defective, damaged in transit, or materially different from what was advertised.
- To initiate a return, you must contact us within [3] days of delivery, and provide photos/documentation evidencing the issue.
- The product must be unused, with its original packaging, tags, certificates, etc.
5. Exceptions & Non-Refundable Items
- Products altered, tampered with, misused, or without original packaging may not be eligible for refund or return.
- Shipping/delivery charges are non-refundable (unless the return or cancellation is due to our fault).

6. Refund Amount
- If the order is cancelled before dispatch: Full product price + any taxes paid.
- If the order is cancelled after dispatch but before delivery, or returned due to damage/defect: Product price + taxes less actual shipping/handling costs.
7. Cancellation Charges
- As per the Indian E-Commerce Rules, 2020, we will not impose cancellation charges on consumers who cancel confirmed orders unilaterally, unless similar charges are borne by GoldJar when GoldJar cancels the order..
- If cancellation occurs after dispatch, shipping & handling costs may be deducted, provided they reflect actual costs incurred.

9. Dispute Resolution
If you are dissatisfied with a refund or cancellation decision, you may contact our grievance officer:

- Response time: We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours, and aim to resolve it within 30 calendar days.
If unresolved, you have the right to escalate to relevant consumer forums or authorities as per applicable law.
10. Updates to this Policy
- GoldJar may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time in accordance with changes in laws or business operations.
- Updated version will be posted on https://www.goldjar.in/, with the “Last Updated” date revised.
